• Christmas Eve: Arrive at The Lamb Inn on Christmas Eve to be served full afternoon tea by open log fires. Unpack and delight in your new surroundings before joining your fellow guests for Champagne and canapés prior to dinner. If you wish, you will be welcome to attend Midnight Mass in one of the local churches in Burford. Return to the hotel for warm mulled wine and mince pies. Have a comfortable night’s sleep and perhaps dream of the festive days ahead. Christmas Day: On Christmas morning feel revitalised by a Bucks Fizz breakfast - a perfect start to a day of feasting and celebration. Perhaps spend the morning opening gifts and gaining an appetite for our beautifully presented Christmas lunch. Delight in an afternoon relaxing by the fire, playing seasonal games or taking a stroll. To complete the festive day, a delicious light buffet will be served in the evening. Boxing Day: After a hearty breakfast, spend the day at your leisure. You could stroll through the historic picture-postcard town of Burford, visit the sales in nearby Oxford or Stratford-upon-Avon, enjoy an invigorating walk or take a pleasant drive through the rolling, scenic countryside. On your return relish a relaxed evening meal, settle by the log fires with a drink and slice of Christmas cake, a book, or for a chat with fellow guests and retire anticipating an appetising breakfast before your journey home. 27th December: After a full English breakfast we wish you farewell. Alternatively take advantage of our extended nights stay offer.
